As of April 5, 2021, all Michiganders age 16 and up who were not previously eligible will be eligible to receive a vaccine. At this time Traverse Health Clinic offers the Moderna vaccine, which is approved for ages 18 and up.
We are sharing the links and information below to help our patients and members of the community navigate the different systems for registering for the vaccine. Please be aware that information is changing rapidly. The most up-to-date information will likely be found on your local health department's COVID-19 vaccine webpage.
The Vaccine Finder website allows you to search for available vaccines near you, and filter your results by the manufacturer. Please note: only vaccine providers who have opted-in to the Vaccine Finder directory will appear in your results.
COVID-19 vaccine appointments are available for priority groups at some CVS locations in Northern Michigan.
Rite-Aid pharmacies in our area are now scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments. You will need to complete the Rite Aid screening form for residents of Michigan, which you can find here.
COVID-19 vaccines are available at local Meijer pharmacies. Vaccines are by appointment ONLY. No walk-ins are accepted. To register for the vaccine with Meijer, text COVID to the number 75049 and you will receive a link. Individuals can also go online to https://clinic.meijer.com.
Family Fare pharmacy locations offering COVID-19 vaccines include the Chum's Corners store in Traverse City, as well as Family Fare stores in Bellaire, Mancelona, Kalkaska, Boyne City, Gaylord, Grayling, and Cadillac. To be notified when vaccines are available at a Family Fare pharmacy near you, you can complete this form.
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The Grand Traverse County Health Department vaccination clinics' scheduling survey is now accepting individuals in every eligibility group and then place them into the scheduling queue waiting-room. To be placed in the scheduling queue, visit: gtcountycovid19.com/vaccine.
BENZIE-LEELANAU DISTRICT HEALTH DEPARTMENT
In Benzie and Leelanau Counties, businesses and individuals can complete the Vaccination Information Form from the Benzie-Leelanau District Health Department. The Benzie Leelanau District Health Department will be contacting individuals who have registered on their Vaccine Sign Up form or called the United Way COVID Information line with appointment scheduling information each week, starting with those who registered earliest and based on the number of vaccine doses available. The estimated time frame for completing vaccination of the current phase: MAY TO JULY 2021.
DISTRICT 10 HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The District 10 Health Department, which covers Crawford, Kalkaska, Lake, Manistee, Mason, Mecosta, Missaukee, Newaygo, Oceana, and Wexford Counties, is now scheduling COVID-19 1st dose vaccine appointments anyone age 16 and up residing in their service area, however you must be age 18 or older to schedule yourself online. Parents of 16 and 17-year-olds in the District 10 region can sign them up for a waitlist for the Pfizer vaccine here.
Traverse City VA Clinic
The Traverse City VA Clinic is offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to veterans over 75 years old. If you meet this criteria, please call: (231) 932-9720.

Our behavioral health services and many of our medical appointments can be completed as "virtual" visits by phone or secure video conferencing. Think of it as a house call for the 21st Century.
- We have a universal masking policy.
- When you come to our facility, all our employees will be wearing surgical masks.
- All patients and visitors to our facility must also wear a surgical mask. If you need one, you will be given a mask to wear when you enter.
- Everyone coming into the Clinic – including patients, visitors, and staff – is screened for symptoms and possible exposure before entering the building.
- Please understand that you will have your temperature checked and will be asked questions about any physical symptoms you might have (including stomach/digestive issues), as well as whether you have been in close contact with someone else who has symptoms.
- Check-in and check-out desks are disinfected after each patient interaction.
- Thank you for your patience while our team wipes down the area.
- To ensure adequate social distancing in our exam rooms, we are limiting the number of people inside our facility.
- If possible, please come to your appointment by yourself.
- For our pediatric patients, we ask that only one parent/guardian accompany your child.
