Sarah graduated with the highest distinction in the Master of Social Work degree from Ferris State University (TC University Center) in August 2022 after also completing her undergraduate studies through Ferris State University’s Traverse City hub. She hails from Grand Rapids and surrounding areas and ended up in Traverse City in the summer of 2009. In addition to mentoring young adults, Sarah has over 15 years’ experience in the health care field, including working with people with disabilities, students with trauma responses, and the aging population. She and her husband have been together since 2008 and married since 2014. Sarah loves to spend time with her two dogs, Roman and Lily and take them for daily walks. She also enjoys playing in her flower gardens, researching topics about community awareness of Human Trafficking and child safety bylaws, and reading suspense, mystery, and female detective novels. Sarah previously worked at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Cadillac. She is grateful to be working in Traverse City again to be closer to home. Sarah welcomes new clients ages 6 and up.
