Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University before graduating from Oakland University with a Master of Arts in Counseling. She is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
"I specialize in brief screening and assessment, crisis intervention, and case management supports and referrals. My professional areas of interest include treatment of Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety, and Depression. I utilize Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Approaches to relapse prevention.
I enjoy exploring Northern Michigan's beautiful outdoors with my family and two Golden Retrievers, Meg and Yeti. I also enjoy bargain hunting, trying a new recipe, listening to live music, and watching college sports."
