Bobbi earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University, with a focus on substance use disorders and mindfulness practices. She is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), nationally certified counselor (NCC), and nationally certified counselor supervisor for limited license counselors (ACS). Bobbi has experience with emergency mental health evaluations in a hospital-setting, as well as outpatient therapy and emergency community mental health services.

"I believe that mental health and physical health are equally important components to overall health and wellbeing. I take a whole person approach to treating individuals in order to improve health outcomes." Bobbi specializes in treating mood, personality, substance use, and anxiety disorders, always with an eye to how those things impact physical health. She has expertise in working with people in crisis.

Bobbi is an avid reader, board gamer, outdoor enthusiast, and animal lover. She has been married for over 33 years and has 2 adult children, a dog (the bestest boy), a cat (rules the household), and a small flock of happy chickens.

Sarah graduated with the highest distinction in the Master of Social Work degree from Ferris State University (TC University Center) in August 2022 after completing her undergraduate studies in Liberal Studies with emphasis in language, culture, and human development through Grand Valley State University. She is currently working towards Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification (CAADC).

"I have worked with all different ages in some form or another, whether it is related to social emotional skill building, ADL's, Dementia care, and Human Trafficking victim talk therapy.

I have 4 fur babies, a husband of 10 years, and a wonderful step-son whom I love. I am a home-body. I enjoy walking my pups, watching X-File reruns and Adam Sandler movies, and creating a space of safety with my patients while they are in my office."

Bill earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Bill has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).

Bill’s counseling focus is on mood disorders and adjustment issues, anger, communication problems, personality disorders, addiction, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, everyday life stressors, and feeling stuck.

A Traverse City native, Bill is happily married and a proud father of one. He enjoys being on the water and doing anything that includes his family.

Jacquie earned her Bachelor of Arts from Central Michigan University in Community Development and Human Services and her Master of Arts from Western Michigan University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has additional training in Co-Occurring Disorders, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). 

Jacquie specializes in adjustment difficulties and life transitions, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, PTSD, self-esteem, substance use disorders. Prior to coming to Traverse Health Clinic, she was the Clinical Administrator for Addiction Treatment Services.

As a Native Texan, Jacquie loves the beauty and culture of Northern Michigan and all things beachy.

Gabby obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Whittier College, and completed her Masters of Social Work through the University of Michigan. She has a passion for helping others on their healing journey; with a specialized focus on adult patients that are working through trauma and substance use disorder.

Jessica Wiemerslage, LMSW

Jessica graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. She has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Nutrition/Integrative Medicine, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Jessica is currently working towards Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification (CAADC).

Jessica has a background in primary care, in-patient psych, HIV/AIDS, end of life/palliative care, and private practice. She sees adolescents, adults, and couples focusing on self-compassion, communication, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, somatic awareness, stress management, addiction, chronic health conditions, and life transitions.

Jessica has lived in the Traverse City area for 20 years. She is married and has two daughters. Jessica spends her free time going to yoga classes, exploring new places with her family, and cooking.
