FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Traverse Health Clinic today announces its 2009 Give – Live – Act Campaign. As the clinic is seeing their enrollment numbers and breadth of services for our community’s uninsured residents continue to grow, they launch the Give – Live – Act campaign encouraging community members to Act. Ads encourage action through Giving- by volunteering as a medical provider or Donating financially to provide health care access for those in need. Actual community donors and a clinic volunteer physician are featured in the “Give” and grateful patient recipients are featured in the “Live.”
In keeping with the true community collaborative nature of the Traverse Health Clinic, the ad campaign was a joint effort between the Northwest Michigan College Visual Communications department and the clinic’s development staff. Gaining ‘real life’ graphic and production experience, three graduating seniors contributing to the campaign were Sharon Anderson, Ashley Danby and Caitlin Vig.
The Traverse Health Clinic’s mission is to provide access to affordable health services through community collaboration to people in need in Benzie, Grand Traverse and Leelanau County.
