A “Matinee Dental Day” event sponsored by Traverse Health Clinic (located in Traverse City Michigan) will be held at The Garden Theater in downtown Frankfort, MI on Saturday, September 19.  The feature film for families will be the BEE MOVIE and the cost will only be $.25 per person! The Traverse Health Clinic staff will perform a short, fun dental skit right before the start of the movie to help educate families and children on why brushing and flossing is important.  The Garden Theater has graciously offered to host this event for the community.

The doors will open to the public at 1pm to offer families the chance to obtain Community Resource Information for families who need information on where and how to obtain dental care for their family.  Traverse Health Clinic will have staff available to answer questions.

Also, The Garden Theater has graciously donated door prizes for this event.  Patrons can print their name on the back of their ticket and put it in the popcorn bucket to win one of the door prizes; winners will be announced at the end of the matinee.  Traverse Health Clinic will give out Tooth Care Kits to all patrons upon leaving the theater.  Tooth Care Kits were purchased by Traverse Health Clinic with grant funding provided by the Traverse City Rotary Club’s Good Works Fund.
