Fun! Fun! Fun! In celebration of National Dental Hygiene Month (every October), a “Matinee Dental Day” event sponsored by Traverse Health Clinic and Northland Dental Hygienists’ Society will be held at the State Theatre in downtown Traverse City on Saturday, October 17. The feature film for families will be “ENCHANTED” and the cost will only be $.25 per person! There will be a short, fun dental skit right before the start of the movie to help educate families and children on why brushing and flossing is important.  The State Theatre has graciously offered to host this event for the community.

The doors will open to the public at 9:30 AM to offer families the chance to obtain Community Resource Information on where and how to obtain dental care for their family.  Traverse Health Clinic will have staff available to answer questions.

FREE! Tooth Care Kits donated by Traverse Health Clinic and Northland Hygienists’ Society will be given to children and adults upon leaving the theater.  The “Tooth Care Kits’ were purchased with funds received from the Traverse City Rotary Club’s Good Works Fund Grant.
